Giving back to the community- Charlotte Group Ltd. &Kinlim donated 2 million yuan worth of medical supplies to aid the epidemic area and fully supported the epidemic relief!
The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus affected the hearts of every Chinese person and imposed a huge pressure on the health care system, causing severe shortage of PPE and medical supplies As a key organization of our locality and an active member of society, it is incumbent for Charlotte Group Ltd. &Kinlim Apparel to contribute our modest efforts to support the epidemic prevention and control work. Since the outbreak, through cooperating with our local Haizhu District Government, we have donated a total of 2 million yuan in urgent medical supplies to support Hubei, the origin of this global pandemic.
To make matters worse, the epidemic just so happened to take a turn for worse during the Chinese New Year season, causing material procurement and transportation even more challenging. Under the leadership of our CEO Lin, key staff of Charlotte Group Ltd. &Kinlim have volunteered their efforts and time to actively respond, secure and deliver goods and supplies to the affected areas in hopes of containing the outbreak and also give some hope to the desperate Hubei people and overwhelmed Hubei local government. Our company culture and motto has always been to uplift one and other, give back to the community and be a socially, environmentally and economically responsible company. In addition,
Charlotte Group Ltd. &Kinlim had been taking active precautionary measures to prepare for the virus after affects, participating in all local government meetings regarding the prevention processes. The company has prepared well in advance for the resumption of work after the holiday, which as a result, has minimized the loss in production volumes and ensured a safe and systemized work environment for the workers. Full and detailed health and safety knowledge has been informed to all personnel with additional training for front-line staff. Handbooks and signs are placed around our offices and factories. All employees must wear masks in strict accordance with the local regulations and measure their body temperature on daily basis when commuting to and from get off work. Additionally, all locations are well equipped with ore than sufficient thermometers, masks and disinfectants and other necessary protective gear. We also provide both physical and mental support to our staff to assure them that as an employer, we are here for them at all times in this global adversity.
Our staff understand the importance of these extra measures and as a company, we are prepared to cooperate with our government to ensure the health and safety of not just our own employees but the entire community.
