March 12th is the annual Arbor Day and in order to improve our employees’ awareness of the importance of environmental protection and the footprint that we leave as a garment manufacturer, we took the initiative to campaign for a green project in the local community by starting a tree planting event on the day.
During the event, employees watched environment protection films and we distributed green brochures that included information on the purpose of Arbor Day, how to properly recycle waste and plant trees and plants at home etc., calling on all company employees to start with the small things around them and practice green life for a better future.
This publicity activity has strengthened residents’ awareness of environmental protection, increased the company’s employees’ enthusiasm for participating in planting and protecting the greens that surround us, allowing more employees to actively participate in environmental protection actions, and publicizing the green cultural concept of building sustainable and harmonious home for our people.
Since the establishment of the company, Charlotte Group Ltd. has been actively seeking out and practicing sustainable manufacturing. We are aware of how desctructive the clothing industry’s carbon footprint is to our planet and understand the significance of our beliefs and actions, as they directly impact our environment. Actions speak louder than words, and our action was investing into a smart, green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly modern factory, use organic and sustainable fabric mills and wash houses and always keep up to date with latest low carbon footprint information and practices.
